WaterDrop: A Tote That Saves You Water!

Did you know that every time you shower, about 1 to 1.5 gallons of clean potable water goes down the drain as you wait for the water to heat up? Multiply that by all of us who take showers and we’re wasting millions of gallons of fresh, clean water every day!

The WaterDrop was designed to help collect the cold water that would otherwise be wasted at the start of a shower. It can be used for cleaning, to water the plants, refill your pet’s water bowl, and any other use you can think of – including the flushing of a toilet. The WaterDrop Tote can accept water from either the shower spout or tap and can collect up to 1.5 gallons of water. It’s also a handy, foldable garden sprinkler with an innovative spout that folds to allow water to flow out to the area where it is needed.

The material used to produce the WaterDrop tote is TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). It is a top plastic material with qualities such as high resilience, good compression set, resistance to impacts, abrasions, and a high level of elasticity and elongation. The WaterDrop’s materials meet FDA’s (Food and Drug Administration) requirements for the U.S. The WaterDrop recently had a successfully funded campaign on the social crowd-funding site, Indiegogo. The Totes are currently available for $12, but you can save by purchasing two or more.
