Jeremy Johnson currently holds the position of President for WaterWise Consulting, Inc. Jeremy is highly educated and has years of experience as a business professional. For his undergraduate studies, Jeremy attended California State University Northridge (CSUN), where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Jeremy then went on to higher education at California Lutheran University (CLU), where he obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA). During his studies at CLU, Jeremy collaborated with his peers and focused on a fast paced, real world business curriculum which emphasized management and organizational behavior. Jeremy has been able to transfer what he has learned throughout his educational career directly to his professional career with ease. Throughout his tenure with WaterWise, Jeremy successfully jump started and managed several water conservation programs for numerous entities throughout the state. Much of his experience lies in working directly with the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) and its member agencies. As program manager, Jeremy successfully managed the MWD California Friendly Landscape Training (CFLT) program for several years. In addition, he was instrumental in successfully distributing over 1,300 Weather Based Irrigation Controllers (WBICs) for five different member agencies under the MWD WBIC distribution program. Jeremy was also successful in distributing over 200 WBICs for a similar distribution program headed by West Basin Municipal Water District (WBMWD). Jeremy also has much experience in effectively managing the Ultra Low Flow Toilet/High Efficiency Toilet (ULFT/HET) distribution and installation programs. Jeremy has been heavily involved with Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District (USGVMWD) and Three Valleys Municipal Water District (TVMWD) in managing their distribution programs. To date, WaterWise has distributed over 18,000 ULFTs / HETs. Jeremy also was a key player in the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) direct installation program in which he coordinated the logistics for installation of 6,000 ULFTs. Jeremy worked in conjunction with other WaterWise staff to co-manage the Best Management Practices (BMP) implementation program for the Los Angeles County WaterWorks Districts. Under this contract, WaterWise was responsible for performing thousands of water use surveys for both residential and commercial customers throughout the Southland. Lastly, Jeremy was successful in managing several programs for the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD). These programs included the Water Efficient Landscape Rebate Program (WELRP), the WBIC installation/rebate program and the Irrigation System Hardware Rebate Program (ISHRP). As President for WaterWise, Jeremy is responsible for the performance of the company. As illustrated, Jeremy not only has the experience in managing staff, but also in managing programs as well. This allows him to be a well-rounded business professional and a known player in the industry. August 18, 2011
