Program Management
WaterWise has many years of experience in managing water conservation programs. The experienced staff at WaterWise stands ready to overcome all obstacles associated with water conservation projects. Our past efforts have been successful with the following programs:
Metropolitan Water District –
Protector del Agua Training Program (PDA).
PDA trains professional landscapers techniques to conserve water in the landscape. WaterWise has successfully managed the program and made it the most sought after bilingual educational program in California by increasing class attendance and effectiveness by over 600%.
Ultra-Low Flush Toilets (ULFT)
The ULFT program relieves water agencies of the logistics and staff required to coordinate such a large-scale toilet exchange event. Collectively, WaterWise has distributed over 35,000 ULFTs in California.
Large Landscape Audits
A landscape audit primarily consists of an evaluation of the existing irrigation system components, system layout and irrigation practices in relation to the plant material, climate and topography of the site. WaterWise has conducted numerous audits throughout southern California and is here to assist in implementing a program, which is right for your agency.
Residential Water Survey
A residential water survey consists of having a well-trained and experienced surveyor visit a residence to review indoor and outdoor water use. This is accomplished by surveying indoor plumping fixtures and outdoor irrigation systems and landscape plant material. WaterWise has conducted hundreds of residential surveys and can help you manage a program which can be both friendly to the customer and water efficient. |
